The Bridge-Between Retreat Center, Inc.

The evolution of The Bridge -Between continues. I have been selected to assume the position of President. But, it would be
improper for me to suggest that I have replaced Chuck Carver,our outgoing President.

Chuck exemplifies the commitment and energy that permeates all who are involved with The Bridge. Through his
leadership, we have transitioned from an advisory to a corporate board whose mission it is to oversee the operation of
The Bridge and to plan for its future. Also, through his leadership and with the tremendous assistance of our outgoing
Vice President, Dean Roork, The Bridge held its first annual Raffle. The enthusiasm with which the community supported
this effort gives all of us the energy to continue to pursue our mission at The Bridge-Between.

In his letter to you last year, Chuck said that “our focus for the next year and into the foreseeable future will be:
1) the development of a comprehensive succession plan
2) the development and implementation of a fund-raising program
3) a marketing plan that ensures the ability of The Bridge to meet the needs of all our retreatants”

The refinement and implementation of these goals continue to be our plan. With your help, we will work toward achieving
these goals. Your continued interest and support is a gift thatwe treasure.
