incentives designed to help you do so. Gifts of Cash Through gifts of cash, it is possible to eliminate taxation on up to 50% of applicable income. Save More Give Other Assets Gifts of certain property such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds that have increased in value since you have owned them can bring extra tax savings. If you have owned appropriate assets for longer than a year, you can deduct the entire value from your income, including any paper profits you may have had in your investment.
